Recently I was asked by the good folks at Nixon Design to illustrate an article for the latest edition of The Tresco Times, on how to prepare a crab.
I always love illustrating food, and this brief was no exception. Dressing a crab is quite straight forward but as there are a lot of moving parts it was important to capture each stage clearly. I also loved integrating hand drawn text into this illustration.
As you can see, the final design was set out slightly differently, but I really like it how it looks. Nixon did a great job on the design.
After creating this illustration, I really want to head over to Tresco to visit now and try out the crab myself. It looks so tasty!
